The Mexican Pavilion Starts This Sunday!

We are bringing more than 30 world class Artists Directly from Mexico performing on every show.
The Folklorama Mexican Pavilion runs from August 7th to August 13th 2011 and the show times are

  • 6:45 pm
  • 8:15 pm
  • 9:45 pm

EVERY DAY!

THE SHOW

Our show includes professional Mexican folk dancers and singers presenting various regional dances from Mexico. We will also feature the show that has impressed people all around the world! The Acrobatic Quebradita performed by award winning Mexican Quebradita dancers. Tired of waiting on those boring lines before getting into the pavilion? Enjoy our outdoor live music between shows presented by Contrala Manera.

THE FOOD

Doors open at 5:40 pm so come early and get your freshly made 100% authentic Mexican food before the show like Tacos and Pozole. Also enjoy our delicious imported Mexican sodas, Mexican Juices and of course our Pavilion exclusive alcoholiic drinks featuing "Mezcal con Gusano" (Mezcal with worm) directly from Oaxaca Mexico, a great selection of Tequilas, and many Mexican beers like Tecate (pavilion exclusive), Corona, Pacifico, XX and more!!! 
For desert enjoy our freshly made original recipe Churros and more!

THE PARTY

We will have Late Night Parties on Friday August 12th and Saturday August 13th starting at 11pm until 2pm!
So be ready to dance Salsa, Cumbia, Bachata Merengue and more with one of the best Live tropical latino band in Canada: Brenda y la Secuencia along with one of the best DJ's in in Manitoba: DJ Stevito

THE CULTURE

Come and learn about Mexico in it's dirversity in our unique Mexican "Plaza" Cultural Display with our volunteers waiting to tell you more about the Mexican culture.

El Pabellon Mexicano empieza este Domingo!

Estamos trayendo a mas de 30 artistas de clase mundial presentandose en cada show.
El Pabellon Mexicano corre del 7 al 13 de Agosto de 2011 y los horarios del show son:

TODOS LOS DIAS!!

EL SHOW

Nuestro show incluye bailarines folkloricos profesionales y cantantes presentando varios bailes regionales de Mexico. Tambien estaremos presentando el show que ha impactado a gente en todo el mundo! La Quebradita Acrobatica presentada por reconocidos bailarines Mexicanos de Quebradita. Cansado de esperar en las largas lineas antes de entrar al pabellon? Disfruta de nuestra musica en vivo presentada por Contrala Manera entre shows.

LA COMIDA

Las puertas abren a las 5:40pm asi que ven temprano por tu recien hecha y 100% autentica Comida Mexicana antes del primer shos, incluyendo Tacos y Pozole. Tambien disfruta de nuestros refrescos y Jugos Mexicanos, y por supuesto, nuestra seleccion exclusiva de bebidas alcoholicas del Pabellon Mexicano, presentando Mezcal con Gusano directamente desde Oaxaca Mexico, una gran seleccion de Tequilas, y muchas cervezas Mexicanas como Tecate (exlcusiva del pabellon), Corona  y Pacifico y mas!!!
Para postre, disfruta de nuestos recien hechos Churros con receta original y mas!

LA FIESTA

Tendremos fiestas de noche  el Viernes 12 y Sabado 13 de Agosto, empezando a las 11pm hasta las 2pm!

Folklorama Mexican Pavilion Show

Hola Amigos!!!

We are glad to announce that we are bringing more than 30 world class Mexican artists to perform on every show!!

Remember! The Folklorama Mexican Pavilion is at St. Norbert Community Centre (south Winnipeg) and runs from August 7th, 2011 to August 13th, 2011 with 2 late night "FIESTA!" with live music on Friday 12th, 2011 and Saturday 13th, 2011.

You wont want to miss it!!!

Our Shows will include professional Mexican dancers performing on every show.

Also, as part of the Folklorama 2011 Mexican Pavilion shows we will have the acrobatic "Quebradita". Take a sneak peak on this video so you get the idea (you will know what we mean by acrobatic when you look after minute 3:00 of the video):

As a final note for today, we know you hate waiting on those boring lines before entering each pavilion. That's why the Folklorama Mexican Pavilion will have live music between every show outdoors provided by Contrala Manera so you have something to hear while you wait on the line.

Mexico en Folklorama

Come visit the Mexican Pavilion and enjoy lively entertainment from our performing group Tradiciones de Monterrey, visiting from Monterrey, Mexico. Savour delicious, authentic tacos, tostadas and pozole, and top it all off with a cold cerveza or tequila. Don't forget to browse through our souvenir marketplace to take something special home with you.

Everyone is invited to join the fun and live entertainment at our late night parties on Friday and Saturday!
